Lord Alan Sugar could be forced into leaving The Apprentice, according to the Bookmakers.

The legendary businessman has headed the BBC show, one of the most popular on the network, for 14-years.

But he has now been forced to apologise for retweeting a racist tweet about the Senegal football team, who are currently at the World Cup finals.

Despite saying sorry, Bookmakers believe that the BBC could be about to turn his own catchphrase on him by saying ‘You’re fired!”

“Things are not looking so sweet for Alan Sugar at the moment, only time will tell if he can overcome this controversy,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.

“At evens for him to leave, the Bookmakers are clearly of the opinion that he may not return.”

To not return to The Apprentice – evens.
