Battle to stay in Strictly intensifies with Chris Ramsey favourite to go

February 6th, 2020 Home, Media & Journalism, Uncategorized

Chris Ramsey is firm favourite to be the next contestant voted out of Strictly Come Dancing, but the Bookmakers have been off the mark in recent weeks.

Ramsey has been favourite every week since Mike Bushell left in early November, but since then he never been in the bottom two at any point – indeed despite being favourite, he has never been part of the dance off.

Now once again he is 11/10 to leave, but Alex Scott is now into 5/2 to go a the couples battle for a place in the semi-finals next week.

Kelvin Fletcher remains on course to be the first contestant to be favourite from the opening weekend to the last as he he is now into 1/3 to win, with his nearest rival Karim Zeroual out to 5/1 after he was voted into the bottom two last week.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “The Bookmakers have Chris as favourite and a firm one at that, but we are not so sure – he has not even been in the bottom two at any point.

“Alex Scott is also suddenly in contention, which is a big fall for someone who was pre-show favourite when the line-up was announced for 2019.

“And as for Kelvin, he just keeps going from strength to strength and with Karim being in the bottom-two last week, it is impossible to back against the former Emmerdale star at this stage.”
