Manchester City have made history in more ways than one after complete the first ever domestic treble in English football history.
City recorded the biggest FA Cup win in more than 100 years as they hammered Watford 6-0 at Wembley, which meant the treble was complete – going with their Premier League and League Cup wins.
Raheem Sterling became the first player this century to score a hat-trick in a final and only the fourth ever.
It now remains to be seen who can stop them next season, with Bookmakers making them odds-on for a third successive title, repeating the success of city rivals Manchester United, who completed that feat in 2009.
They are just 50/1 to land a back-to-back treble, whilst it is 250/1 for the unprecedented Quadruple.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “Bookmakers are not taking City on, they are being described as the great Premier League team ever, and they are putting up a very good argument.
“But if you think they are unstoppable, perhaps you should be getting 50/1 for the treble now – safe to say, if they make a good start that price won’t be around for long.
“And what about the Quadruple, well City keep making a good run at it…it could be dismissed, and at just 250/1 it is not beyond the realms of fantasy.”
