Hamilton eyes record British GP win

July 11th, 2019 Home, Media & Journalism, News & Events, Press Release, Sport

Lewis Hamilton arrives on home soil this weekend looking for a record sixth British Grand Prix success.

The Mercedes star is already well on his way to claiming a sixth world title, which would put him just one behind Michael Schumacher’s record haul of seven.

But before that he has the chance to make history at Silverstone. Hamilton is already the most successful driver in British GP history, level on five wins with British legend Jim Clark and French ace Alain Prost.

“But Hamilton has many targets still ahead of him and one he will be set on is becoming the most successful driver ever at the British Grand Prix, and that should happen this weekend.”
