The first ten names of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 have been confirmed, with former England footballer Ian Wright the early favourite.
Wright has been confirmed as one of ten going into the Australian Jungle this weekend, although it is believed two more celebrities will be joining after launch, as has become the norm.
The big name in 2019 is Caitlyn Jenner. The 70-year-old, who is regarded as the world’s most famous transgender woman in the world, is being paid by far the biggest fee to go in.
Also going in is Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, Eastenders actress Jacqueline Jossa, ex-England rugby star James Haskell, RakSu singer Myles Stephenson, comedian Andrew Maxwell and radio DJs Roman Kemp and Adele Roberts.
One of the additional celebs, who is set to join after Sunday is believed to be Coronation Street star Andrew Whyment, and he is considered one of the favourites to win.
Wright is the early favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle at 2/1 with Capital radio star Kemp rated at around 5/1 just ahead of Whyment at 5/1.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “We now know who is going in, and there isn’t any surprises…yet, it seems almost certain that Andy Whyment will be going, but will he be alone?
“One thing we do know is that this is very hard to predict at this stage, but Ian Wright is a hugely popular figure and it is no surprise to see him as firm favourite to succeed another footballing legend, Harry Redknapp, as the King of the Jungle.”
