Defending champions Ireland are odds-on to defend their Six Nations title.
Europe’s premier rugby event gets underway this weekend, but few can see anything other than more Irish glory.
The Emerald Isle dominated in 2018 and won the Six Nations title, whilst completing the Grand Slam and Triple Crown.
No team has successfully repeated doing the title, Grand Slam and Triple Crown sine England back in 1992 – but the Irish are being well backed to do just that.
Ireland are 4/5 to win the title, whilst second favourites England are as long as 4/1 with Wales at 9/2.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “Bookmakers just won’t take Ireland on, we are being told nearly half of all bets on the Six Nations is coming for Ireland – hence the odds-on, and despite the short odds, the public are still liking what they are seeing.
