Wide open Love Island sees new favourites again

Into the third week of Love Island and predicting a winner is looking tough as there is another new couple who have become favourites to take the title.

Liverpudlian firefighter Michael Griffiths and Geordie beautician Amber Gill looked to be struggling for a match until they coupled up only recently, and now their popularity has soared and they the Bookmakers now make them favourite to take the title at

Dancer Curtis Pritchard and flight attendant Amy Hart have been leading the way, and they are the longest serving couple in the Villa – but interest in them has died down a little and they are now 5/2.

Irish scientist Yewande Biala and her new beau Danny Williams are attracting interest too, and their odds have come into 8/1 – although the public have not latched onto Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague as they are as long as 10/1 for the win.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “The 2019 series is wide open, no doubt about it and Bookmakers now have their third different favourites to win the title in as many weeks.

“Last year we saw Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham dominate from the off, but now we have see Joe and Lucie, Curtis and Amy and now Michael and Amber as favourites.

“But with more twists and turns you never know what could happen, the Bookies have Tommy and Lucie listed at 16/1, could we see old flames getting back together? Don’t rule it out.”
