All change for Leanne as she wins battle for Mike

February 6th, 2020 Home, Media & Journalism

Leanne Amaning has won the battle for the heart of Mike Boateng and that means a huge turnaround in her fortunes, going from favourite to leave to favourite to win.

Leanne was originally picked by Mike but within a day he was partnered with twin Jess Gale, who had arrived a day later into the Villa with her sister Eve.

Once the new pairing had taken place, Leanne became odds-on favourite to be the first person eliminated – but Londoner Leanne, who is a customer service adviser, worked hard or ‘grafted’ as they love to say on Love Island and she is the one now cuddling up to Mike and they have even enjoyed one of the first kisses in Series 6.

Now Bookmakers have been forced to react with punters – who already like Mike – backing Leanne to take victory. But things are not going well for either of the twins.

Whilst Eve has been dumped, her sister Jess is locked in a battle with Shaughna Phillips to land Callum Jones.

Like with Leanne and Mike, Shaughna and Callum were coupled up on the opening day, before Jess then picked Callum. Callum is now locked in a three-way relationship.

Eve and Jess are now favourites to go, along with Siannise Fudge – who is coupled up with Nas Majeed, but they have already decided they will stay just ‘friends’.

However, Eve, Jess and Siannise were delighted to learn of two new men entering the Villa with Connagh Howard and Finley Tapp both arriving following the early departure of Oli Williams.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “It has been a whirlwind few days in South Africa, and the twins Jess and Eve have certainly made an impact, but few could have predicted Leanne stepping up in the way she has to save her relationship with Mike – and she looks to have done just that.

“With Shaughna battling too, it could spell trouble for Eve and Jess, and they are now the favourites to leave the show first.”
