City quad quest still on

March 15th, 2019 Football, Home, Media & Journalism, News & Events, Press Release

Manchester City’s odds on completing the Quadruple are now as low as they ever have been.

Priced at 200/1 at the start of the season, City were closing on the Quad last season, before coming up short by not winning the Champions League and FA Cup.

Now with the Carabao Cup in the bag – City are favourites for the Premier League, as well as the FA Cup and Champions League.

Indeed after favourable draws in the FA Cup and Champions League – Bookmakers have again cut the odds on a Quad down to 11/1.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton said: “At 11/2, City have never been shorter to do the Quad – we must remember this would be an unprecedented, we have had trebles – but a Quad is unheard of.

“But the Bookmakers are not taking City on – just look at the individual odds, 3/8 for the Premier League – that is nearly 75 probability, despite how close the title race is shaping up.

“They are also odds-on at 11/13 for the FA Cup, and with their Champions League price of 9/4 – it is clear that the Bookmakers believe there is a real chance of this happening.”

Selected Manchester City odds:
Quadruple – 11/2
Premier League – 3/8
FA Cup – 11/13
Champions League – 9/4
