After weeks of Wes Nelson being favourite, James Jordan has suddenly emerged as the new favourite to win Dancing on Ice.
Wes looking to be cruising towards victory with Bookmakers slashing his odds on a weekly basis, and going into the semi-final he was as short as 4/9.
But the weekend’s action saw James in spectacular form as he claimed a maximum 40 points for each of his two dances – wowing the judges.
And Wes could only secure a high of 37 points, showing he was some way behind his main rival James.
Now Bookmakers have reacted and installed James as 8/15 favourite, which is nearly 70% probability that the former Strictly star takes the win.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “The turnaround in this market has been nothing short of spectacular, Wes was so far ahead in the market – but James’s performances have blown everyone away.
“But don’t forget this is a public vote for the overall winner, and is James more popular? We are not sure – so Wes could be good value at 13/8.
“And this is a three horse race with Sarah Aalto also in the mix – but she is huge odds at 16/1.”
Selected odds on Dancing on Ice Winner:
James Jordan 8/15
Wes Nelson 13/8
Saara Aalto 16/1
