Harry Kane is on course for the Golden Boot according to Bookmakers, which will result in more than just one award.
The England captain has been in sensational form at the World Cup finals with five goals in his opening two games.
He is now firm favourite to take the Golden Boot from Russia, and that could very well impact on over awards.
“Before the finals started, Harry Kane was around 16/1 for top-scorer, but now he is much shorter at around 13/8,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“And if he does become the first Englishman since Gary Linker in 1986 to claim the Golden Boot, then other honours are on the cards.
“He is now firm favourite to land the Personality of the Year, coming into 2/1 having been more than 10/1 just weeks ago.
“And what about a Knighthood? Bookmakers now make him 7/2 – although that is only likely if he is lifting the actual World Cup come July.”
Selected Harry Kane odds:
World Cup top-scorer 13/8
Sports Personality of the Year 2/1
To be Knighted 7/2
