One of the X Factor’s pre-show favourites Brendan Murray has little chance of winning, according to the Bookmakers.
Murray only just avoided elimination last week when he was saved by the public vote after the judges could not decide between him and the LMA Choir – who left the show along with Janice Robinson.
Now, whilst Brendan is not expected to leave this weekend – he is now as long as 33/1 to win the competition – despite being second favourite last week when he was 6/1.
This week’s favourites to go are once again Ayda Field’s – she has already lost Olatunji Yearwood and Janice, and now she looks like losing a third straight act, and Bookmakers think both her remaining two singers – Giovanni Spano and Danny Tetley, could leave.
Looking at the likely winners and there is a new favourite for the third week running, with Dalton Harris now just 11/8 taking over from Shan – although her, and week one favourites Misunderstood are still highly fancied for the title.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “Halloween was on Wednesday, but Ayda could be in for a real horror show on Saturday, as there is a big chance both her remaining acts could go.
“Giovanni is firm favourite at 10/3 whilst Danny is 7/2 alongside United Vibe – mentored by her husband Robbie Williams, but they clearly already have some form of fan-base.
“As for the favourites, Dalton Harris has been performing wonderfully in the opening weeks and it is little surprise him getting huge backing at 11/8.
“One other big move has been Anthony Russell – guided by Louis Tomlinson – he is now into 8/1 around the same price as Misunderstood.”
