Is Stan the man?

Before I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! began, the British public were not too aware of Stanley Johnson – now he is favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle.

The 77-year-old father of Foreign Secretary Boris, proved a big hit on opening night and Bookmakers and Punters alike have reacted by making him the new favourite ahead of Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine.

“Stanley Johnson was great value in the opening show, and the fact Punters were quick to get on board has seen the Bookmakers react, from around 8/1 he is now 5/2,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.

“Jennie McAlpine, is still doing well in the market but Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo has also come right in and is now third favourite at 9/2.

“The real negative in the odds has been Amir Khan, who is now out to 20/1 – he has clearly not come across too well to the Punters thus far.”
