Another summer approaching and it would not be a footballing summer without talk about the world’s most expensive footballer Neymar and this year is no different.
Neymar joined Paris Saint Germain in a world record deal of over £200million, but despite being less than 12-months into the move – speculation has not stopped about his next move.
From conspiracy theories that PSG was only a holding post before joining Barca’s arch-rivals Real Madrid, to links back to the Nou Camp – plenty of stories have arisen.
He has also been linked with moves to England with Manchester City, Chelsea and more recently Manchester United, and clearly the speculation is not going anywhere – but is Neymar?
“The Bookmakers were caught off-guard by Neymar last year somewhat, they had taken a lot of money on the PSG move before realising that something was happening, but that won’t happen again,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“But it is clear that if and when Neymar does decide that he has had enough of Paris, then a move back to Spain is where he is heading and Real Madrid are already 4/5.”
Selected odds for Neymar’s next club:
Real Madrid 4/5
Manchester City 5/1
Manchester United 8/1
Any Chinese club 16/1
