The Voice goes live for the first time in 2019 with Jennifer Hudson and her act Nicole Dennis favourites to win the show.

Nicole has been firm favourite since her very first audition which led to an impromptu duet with her new coach Jennifer.

And whilst interest has been coming for others, Nicole – who has experience of performing in the West End – remains favourite to win an secure the record deal on offer.

Nicole is rated 3/1, but Molly Hocking – part of Olly’s team – has seen a lot of interest and is into 4/1 just behind in the betting. Sir Tom Jones is the defending champion and his act Cedric Neal has come into 7/2 third favourite.

Going into the live shows – after which point public votes will count, each coach has two acts left – but there will also be a ‘ninth’ wild card pick, selected by the public from those acts who have already been eliminated.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “The betting on The Voice is getting very close now, yes Nicole Dennis remains favourite – as she has all along – but she is now only just at the head of the market.

“There is plenty of money coming for the likes of Molly Hocking and Cedric Neal, and there is not too much to choose between the entire field.

“And let’s not forget the wild card, who will come in after a public vote and also we need to remember the public have not been involved so far, they might like an act not thought to be in the reckoning, this market could be turned on its head.”

Selected odds on Voice winner:
Nicole Dennis 7/2
Molly Hocking 4/1
Cedric Neal 9/2
Deana 15/2
Jimmy Balito 7/1
Moya 8/1
Emmanuel Smith 8/1
