Jake Quickenden is emerging as a strong favourite for the Dancing On Ice crown.
The former X-Factor and I’m a Celebrity star was always considered one of the favourites before the show began, and his popularity is only going one way after showing just how adept he is on the ice.
Quickenden was the star of the show last week when he and partner Vanessa Bauer top-scored by a big margin ahead of Love Island winner Kem Cetinay.
“Jake is proving very popular with the public and the Bookmakers are cutting him every week, he will soon be odds-on,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“Jake and Kem are reportedly giving the producers headaches with their off-screen hi-jinx, but they are both looking like sure bets to reach the latter weeks – not just because of their personalities, but their skating performances.
“Also lets not forget, Jake was a runner-up on I’m a Celebrity, and Kem won Love Island – they both already have a huge reality TV fan-base – we can’t see past these two at the moment.
“Looking ahead to the next departure and it seems a straight battle between Cheryl Baker and Antony Cotton.”
