Tom Brady leads the New England Patriots into SuperBowl LII as firm favourites for a record equalling sixth crown.
The Patriots take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Minnesota on Sunday in one of the biggest sporting spectacular on the planet.
The Eagles have never won a Super Bowel, but they are hoping to put that right in what will be the third appearance in America’s showpiece – although the Bookmakers do not think they have much chance.
“This game is a global gambling extravaganza, but nobody is giving The Eagles much of a chance,” explained OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“Philadelphia are 2/1, and there has been some interest in them but we are being told that all the money is on New England, hence they are odds-on, and not surprising – Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are at the head of a sporting dynasty now and they only look like adding another Super Bowl trophy to their cabinet.
“If we look at ‘The Spread’ as they do in America, but is now on-offer in England they are giving The Eagles a five point start, but we are not sure that will be enough.”
Super Bowl Odds:
New England 1/2
Super Bowl Spread
Patriots -5 20/23
Eagles +5 19/20
