Swansea City boss Paul Clement is now the odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job.
With five managers – a quarter of the Premier League – already gone this season, Clement is on the brink according to the Bookmakers and the general public are favouring him too.
The Bookmakers have been cutting his odds consistently over the last week as they believe he will soon be on his way.
“Paul Clement is now into around 4/7 across the board to be next manager out in the top-flight, which is over 50% probability that he will be next out,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“And such is the extent that Bookmakers feel Clement will be next out, it is 6/1 the rest of the league – with Stoke boss Mark Hughes rated next most likely.
“From what we are hearing from the Bookmakers and seeing in the markets, there is very little money coming for anyone other than Clement.”
Selected odds on next Premier League manager to leave:
Paul Clement 4/7
Mark Hughes 6/1
Mauricio Pellegrino 8/1
Sean Dyche 10/1
David Moyes 12/1
