The anticipation for the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is building, and Bookmakers are certainly getting in on the action.

One of the biggest non-sporting markets of the year, there is huge amounts being gambled by the public as wedding fever spreads world-wide.

And Bookmakers certainly have Royal Wedding fever, offering a host of markets, from what the Queen will be wearing to what their first song will be.

“With the FA Cup final and the Royal Wedding, it is safe to say this is going to be one of the busiest betting weekends of 2018,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.

“One of the biggest markets seems to be the outfit the Queen will be wearing and what colour hat and there has been big money on Green being the colour of choice, with odds more than halved to 3/1.

“But you can also look at what Harry will be wearing, although he is odds-on at 1/20 to be in his military uniform, but will he be donning a beard on the day? That is 1/2 that he will and 6/4 he won’t.

“And the first song, well although Ed Sheeran has seen a lot of money in recent weeks and is second favourite – Sir Elton John is 1/2 to serenade the new couple.”
