Ovie Soko & India Reynolds could be set to pull off a huge shock in the Love Island Villa.
Boxer Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have been odds-on favourites for weeks – but their popularity is being challenged.
The likes of Curtis Pritchard & Amy Hart and Michael Griffiths & Amber Gill both enjoyed popularity alongside Tommy & Molly before they broke up.
Curtis and Amber have since found new partners in the Villa, in the shape of Irish pair Maura Higgins and Greg O’Shea – but neither of those are seen as the threat to Tommy & Molly taking the title.
It is basketball player Ovie and glamour model India who are proving hugely popular with the public, and their odds are now as low as 6/4 whilst Tommy & Molly odds are out to 8/11.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “We all thought this was done and dusted, Bookmakers were so convinced that Tommy & Molly were going to win – that they were offering markets without those two.
“However, Ovie and India odds are now at 6/4 – that is a 40% probability of winning – a remarkable turnaround, Ovie and India were over 20/1 when they first go together earlier this month.
“With the final on Monday, there is every chance that Ovie and India could be favourite by then and we have a real competition on our hand – this could very well be the closest final we have ever seen on Love Island.”
Love Island winning couple odds:
Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague – 4/5
Ovie Soko & India Reynolds – 6/4
Greg O’Shea & Amber Rose Gill – 6/1
Curtis Pritchard & Maura Higgins – 12/1
Anton Danyluk & Belle Hassan – 16/1
