The \u2018x2\u2019 indicates that the bet is now made up of 2 x \u00a35 bets: 1 x \u00a35 bet to win and 1 x \u00a35 bet to place.<\/span><\/p>\nIn other words, your total stake is \u00a310 (\u00a35 each way).<\/p>\n
The total estimated returns of \u00a35 each way, at odds of 21.00, are \u00a3135.<\/p>\n
They’re only estimated because the exact amount depends on the outcome of the race. If the horse wins, you’ll get paid out on both the win and<\/span><\/i> place parts of the bet. In this example, I’ll receive \u00a3135 in returns. However, if the horse doesn\u2019t win but still manages to place, you’ll only get paid out on the place part of the bet.<\/span><\/p>\n
