This posts looks at linking your OddsMonkey and Betfair accounts.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll also look at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>what Betfair integration is,<\/li>\n<li>and how to place a bet using Betfair integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is Betfair integration?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GzYlQwZhhx4\" width=\"100%\" height=\"455\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>OddsMonkey and Betfair Exchange have joined forces and developed the first matched betting tool that means bets can be placed directly at the exchange. Without needing to leave OddsMonkey, or even log in to Betfair.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oddsmonkey.com\/blog\/matched-betting\/what-is-the-betfair-exchange-an-overview\/\">Check out this post for more info on the Betfair Exchange<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The integration will save a huge amount of time compared with previous versions of OddsMatcher. You\u2019ll no longer need to flick between screens to place your lay bets and if the odds change, all of the calculations will automatically update, rather than needing you to manually input the data.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Linking your OddsMonkey and Betfair accounts<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3VXOSS5Ijg8\" width=\"100%\" height=\"455\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On your OddsMonkey dashboard, you\u2019ll see the section \u2018Betfair settings\u2019. It\u2019s easy to link your OddsMonkey and Betfair accounts. Here are a few simple steps.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the \u2018link your Betfair account\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<li>Read through the information on the screen.<\/li>\n<li>If you\u2019re happy, click \u2018link to Betfair now\u2019 to be taken directly to the Betfair login page.<\/li>\n<li>Once you\u2019re on Betfair, enter your Betfair username and password.<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;ll then see a standard Betfair integration message screen, requesting the authorisation for OddsMonkey to place bets on your behalf. Click &#8216;Agree&#8217;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That\u2019s it! Your accounts will now be linked.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be shown your Betfair account name, account status (whether it\u2019s linked or not), your Betfair balance and an editable Betfair commission box. This is set at 5%, but if you have a lower commission rate &#8211; through continued use at Betfair &#8211; you can lower that to the correct percentage for you. You&#8217;ll be able to change this at any time and we\u2019ll show you how to do that later on in this video.<\/p>\n<p>You can choose to have a confirmation message pop up before you place each bet on Betfair by leaving the \u2018display confirmation\u2019 box checked. Once you\u2019re happy, click \u2018save changes\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Back on your dashboard, you&#8217;ll see that your Betfair settings box will now be filled in. Clicking the refresh button will update your Betfair balance, taking into account any bets which have settled since the last refresh. You can return to your settings at any time by clicking \u2018Betfair settings\u2019. If you want to unlink your account, just click the relevant button in \u2018Betfair settings\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>So what are you waiting for?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">[the_ad id=&#8221;1914&#8243;]<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Placing bets using Betfair integration<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yAjC1eUNBvI\" width=\"100%\" height=\"455\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Currently, you&#8217;ll only be able to place your bets directly from the OddsMatcher. However, we\u2019ll be extending this to all OddsMonkey tools in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>Open up the calculator for your selected match and you&#8217;ll see all of the relevant information for your bet. As always, you can change between the bet types at the top of the calculator. Switch between these and the calculations will be automatically updated. Your bookmaker bet stake will automatically be set at \u00a310. Change it if your bet size differs from this.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019re happy with the calculations and you\u2019ve placed your back bet with the bookmaker, just click the \u2018lay the bet\u2019 button and the bet will automatically be placed. If you have \u2018display confirmation\u2019 ticked in your Betfair settings you&#8217;ll see a message asking \u2018are you sure?\u2019 you want to place the lay bet. Just click \u2018yes\u2019. If you\u2019ve unchecked the box in your settings, the bet will be placed automatically when you click the button.<\/p>\n<p>When you&#8217;ve placed your lay bet, the button to place the lay will be greyed out. This is done to avoid you double clicking the button and placing the lay bet twice.
