Bookmakers are moving quickly to start cutting the odds across the board on the Premier League teams, who have started in a dominant manner.<\/p>\n
The Premier League’s current top-four of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have started in excellent fashion – all claiming maximum points from their opening two games of the Champions League group stages.<\/p>\n
Whilst Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain – who also have 100% records from the opening two games – remain clear favourites, the English sides are making an impression on the markets.<\/p>\n
“Bookmakers are reacting, it is clear – the odds on all four teams are coming in – Man City are into 9\/1, United 10\/1, Chelsea 12\/1 and Spurs 25\/1 respectively,” revealed OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.<\/p>\n
“Liverpool’s odds are the only ones which have not changed really, given two draws in the opening game – but even they are expected to progress through the group stages.<\/p>\n
