Edmund, ranked just inside the top-50 in the world before the tournament started in Melbourne, he was rated at 200\/1 before action got underway down under.<\/p>\n
Now the 23-year-old – who has never made it beyond a fourth round of a Grand Slam event previously – has produced a string of brilliant displays, including victory over third seed Grigor Dimitrov.<\/p>\n
“Edmund’s odds have tumbled and tumbled every round, now he is just 9\/4 to overcome Marian Cilic and make the final,” revealed OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.<\/p>\n
