Manchester City are being backed to break the Premier League\u00a0 all-time points record this season.<\/p>\n
The current record stands at 95, earned by Chelsea in 2005 – but Pep Guardiola’s side are already on 72 points with just 11 games remaining.<\/p>\n
Now Bookmakers are shortening the price on City and Pep claiming the record from Jose Mourinho’s title winners.<\/p>\n
“City look like have a good run-in and it looks highly likely that they will break the record,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.<\/p>\n
“The price is now down to 4\/6 which is 60% probability, and it does seem highly likely this will be cut further in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
“City’s run-in looks good to them, and this is one of a number of prizes they look like picking up.”<\/p>\n
