The Stark family are firm favourites to become the new rulers of Westeros, as Game of Thrones season eight looks set to start.<\/p>\n

Bran Stark is now odds-on to take the Iron Throne in final season of the award winning HBO show, which has fans around the world gripped about the outcome.<\/p>\n

He was as long as 33\/1 following the end of the last season, but regular and big support has seen him become the firm favourite.<\/p>\n

But Bran is not the only Stark in the running as his sister Sansa is second favourite, backed into 7\/2 in recent weeks. The third Stark sibling Ayra is seen as the outsider of the three, although she is seemingly quite backable at 12\/1.<\/p>\n

The other big mover in the market is Gendry – a fans favourite, and the rightful heir to the throne itself and some believe he could very well be the one to end GOT on top.<\/p>\n

The ever popular Jon Snow is very much still in the running, standing at 4\/1 in the betting.<\/p>\n

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “The interest in Game of Thrones is phenomenal and Bookmakers have taken advantage.<\/p>\n

“This market has been going crazy, but one man has been dominating for months and than is Bran Stark – he has gone to odds-on, and together with his sister Sansa – it is hard to see a Stark not being on the Iron Throne once this season comes to an end.<\/p>\n

“Indeed, current ruler\u00a0Cersei Lannister could be good value at 16\/1 if you can’t see a change happening.<\/p>\n

“As the series goes on – we might see some major changes, so the betting market is well worth keeping an eye on.”<\/p>\n
