The Olympics are due to take place later this year in Tokyo, Japan – starting in late July.<\/p>\n
However, the ongoing Coronavirus crisis means there is now a real chance that the Olympics could be cancelled for the first time since 1944 when World War 2 meant they could not go ahead.<\/p>\n
Now Japan – which has had more than 200 confirmed victims – has taken the decision to close all their public schools in March, in a bid to curtail the outbreak.<\/p>\n
But with less than 150 days to the opening ceremony, there is now a real question mark over whether they can go ahead or not.<\/p>\n
Bookmakers now believe that the Olympics will be cancelled, it is 4\/7 – 60% probability that we don’t see the Olympics this year.<\/p>\n
