Who is heading into Strictly Come Dancing 2018?

Strictly Come Dancing is not due to air until September, but Bookmakers are taking bets on who is going to be competing in the show.

The 16th edition of the BBC’s flagship weekend show begins later this year, and already fans and Bookmakers are guessing as to who my be competing for the Glitter Ball in 2018.

Olympic champions are massively fancied to take part this year with Skeleton star Lizzie Yarnold and former Heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill considered the favourites.

Away from the sporting stars the next favourites to take place are ex-Emmerdale star Chelsea Halfpenny, Coach Trip presenter Brendan Sheerin, and BBC presenter Steph McGovern.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “The build-up for Strictly 2018 has already begun and the interest is strong on Lizzie Yarnold, the Golden Girl of Britain’s Winter Olympic squad and at 3/1 she is firmly leading this race too.

“Another Gold medal hero in Jess Ennis-Hill is highly fancied at 6/1 with Emmerdale star Chelsea Halfpenny getting a lot of traction.

“Politicians always attract a lot of attention and a very popular in Strictly on the John Bercow, the House of Commons speaker, is rated at just 12/1.”
