OddsMonkey’s new site: FAQs

Here’s a quick post about OddsMonkey’s new site. At the time of writing, we recently launched a new site, which is currently in Beta. We’ve had a few questions so far, so Buschra has put together a quick FAQ piece. Let us know if you’ve got a question about the new site by leaving us a comment below.

The old site is still active so you can opt in to use that version instead for now. We’ll let members know before it disappears.

So far, we’ve received some amazing ideas for features we can add to the site. The team is working hard to see what can be done. We want to offer the best matched betting experience to everyone, so rest assured we are doing everything we can! We’ll continue to review and improve the site in the coming months and look forward to your feedback.

Why does OddsMonkey have a new site?

The old site was first built over 10 years ago. While we’ve added numerous new features and tools over the years, the underlying platform was getting on a bit. Sometimes, it complicated things in terms of maintenance issues and enhancements to the site. The new site will mean that we are able to add features and improvements much quicker and more easily.

Is it just a redesign of the old site?

Not at all. We’ve anlaysed years of feedback from our members and used it to review and rebuild all pages and tools to provide consistency across the site and enhance the User Interface (UI).

We adopted a mobile-first approach when building the new site and, as a result, the new website and all tools are now fully functional across the large majority of mobile and tablet devices.

As a newbie, what does this new site give me?

OddsMonkey’s new site has been designed to remove distractions and help you focus on the initial learning process. It also includes a simplified, integrated OddsMatcher for the first free offers available to you. This means that you won’t be bombarded with advanced jargon, methods, and offers. Instead, we’ll walk you through the beginning stages.

I can’t find any 2up matches. Where did they go?

Don’t worry – they’re still there! But they’re now shown as their own matcher. Log into your OddsMonkey Premium account, go to Tools and then Matcher Tools, and you’ll see a matcher dedicated solely to 2ups. That means there’s no more typing in ‘2up’ or ‘2upall’ in the search box.

What do I do if something isn’t working properly?

As with anything in the testing stages, there are bound to be a few issues. If you come across something that you don’t think is working right, let us know. Either open a support ticket on the site or contact [email protected] and tell us what’s going on.
