Something big is happening to the world of matched betting. And it’s happening at OddsMonkey. Our core product, OddsMatcher, made matched betting easier. Now, thanks to our brand new Betfair Integration, matched betting’s about to get quicker and slicker, too.

What is Betfair Integration?

We’ve teamed up with exchange giant, Betfair to bring you an integration tool which speeds everything up.

Alongside Betfair, we’ve developed the first matched betting tool that means bets can be placed directly at the exchange. Without needing to leave OddsMonkey or even log in to Betfair.

Who are OddsMonkey?

As you know, we’re home to the UK’s first automated odds matching software, OddsMatcher. (Click here to read our interview with OddsMonkey’s founder.)

We’ve also offer a full matched betting service, including software and support. For just £15 a month or £150, OddsMonkey Premium members can use tools like:

• RacingMatcher

(and more). As well as taking advantage of our one to one training sessions and support in the Community.

What is the Betfair Exchange?

Betfair is an online gambling company which operates the world’s largest online betting exchange. The company also offers a sportsbook, online casino, online poker and online bingo. (Find out more about the Betfair Exchange in this post.)

How does it work?

The integration will save you a huge amount of time. You no longer need to have multiple tabs or windows open on your screen. You no longer need to flick between them to find selections and then place your lay bets. Instead, Betfair Integration means that it’s now all done with the click of a button. Also, if the odds change while you’re in the middle of placing your matched bets, all of the calculations will automatically update, meaning that you no longer need to manually input the data.

Currently, you’ll only be able to place your bets directly from the OddsMatcher. However, our dev team are working hard to extend the integration to all of our other tools really soon.

Since launching Betfair Integration in Beta, one of the main questions we’ve had is around being ‘gubbed’. Here’s our response:

“We’ve been assured by Betfair that linking your Exchange account will not have any implications for your Betfair Sportsbook or Paddy Power accounts. Their sportsbook accounts are treated as separate entities and we’ve been told that any sportsbook limiting/restrictions are based solely on your bookmaker activity.”
