Outlook is good for Dancing on Ice Weatherman

Two weeks into Dancing On Ice and whilst proving hugely popular with the public – nobody is emerging as a clear favourite but weatherman Alex Beresford is the biggest mover both on the ice and in the betting markets.

Beresford, who presents the weather on ITV’s morning show Good Morning Britain, has emerged as a fans favourite with his dancing and engagement with the public.

“Alex has really come to the fore, rated as big as 14/1 and one of the true outsiders at the beginning of the show, he is now regarded as one of the favourites for the show,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.

“Max Evans and Jack Quickenden have been popular from the start, but Alex is now third in the betting – his decision to present the weather on Friday in full disco dress went down a storm on social media, and has only helped add to his fan base.

“One thing is for sure is that the public seem to be siding with the men this time around, the history of Dancing On Ice has seen more male winners, and we could seen that continue with the top four fancies all being men.”
