Joe and Lucie impress early on in Villa

The opening night has seen Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan emerge as early favourites after coupling up together.

The first ten contestants entered the famed villa with Caroline Flack overseeing the first set of couples coming together, and Joe and Lucie were not quick in confirming their liking for each other.

Although the same can’t be said of everyone, with Anton Danyluk grabbing the headlines early on for his actions. The Scottish Lothario admitted in the build-up he had a wandering eye, and after coupling up with air hostess Amy Hart – he did not hesitate in pulling Lucie to one side and declaring his fondness for her.

But the early money has seen both Lucie and Joe emerge as favourites to win – although things could be turned on their head pretty soon as dancer Curits Pritchard and boxer Tommy Fury entered the Villa, and they will have the chance to couple up with a girl of their choice.
