Odds cut on City’s Quad Quest

Manchester City’s odds on winning the Quadruple have shrunk to just 10/1.

No team has ever done the Quadruple but City look well placed to have a real go, although at this stage last season they were also going for all four trophies they could win – in the shape of the League Cup, FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League.

Last season City completed a double by winning the Premier League and League Cup, but they came up short in their quest for all four.

But their bid for the Quad remains on this season, and  City could complete the first of a possible four leg triumph if they take victory at Wembley on Sunday as they face Chelsea in the League Cup final.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton confirmed: “This was a 300/1 shot at the start of the season, and it was presumed they would find this season Quad quest somewhat harder but here they are on the brink of the first leg.

“And to go with that, they are odds-on for the Premier League and FA Cup, whilst also being firm favourite for the Champions League following their win at Schalke.

“At 10/1 that puts City’s probability on the Quad at around 10%.”
