Read MoreJackpot King slots are exciting games where you can win one of three massive progressive jackpots on any spin, with the potential for life-changing amounts. These slots are networked across various casinos, so every bet contributes to the growing prize pots, and hitting five crown symbols unlocks a special mini game offering even more chances to win big!
Jackpot King slots games include the chance to win one of three progressive jackpots on any spin.
This means that players have a tiny chance of winning an incredibly high jackpot on every single spin, with the highest prize usually well into seven figures.
There are quite a number of Jackpot King slots games available, with many of the most popular slots games featuring a Jackpot King version. No matter which you choose to play, you’ll be in with a shot at a potentially life-changing win.
You may be wondering how exactly a Jackpot King jackpot works, if there are lots of different games all featuring the same jackpots.
Well, Jackpot King is what’s known as a ‘networked’ jackpot – meaning that the pots are shared across all Jackpot King games, and across all casinos featuring those games.
Its jackpots are also progressive, in that they increase over time, with a portion of all money staked on any Jackpot King game contributing to the jackpots available to win.
Any spin on any of these games can trigger the Jackpot King feature – and there’s no minimum stake required.
If you land five crown symbols, one on each reel, you’ll get the chance to play the first Jackpot King mini game. This takes place on its own dedicated playgrid, where you collect crown symbols to move up a prize ladder of cash values, with the ‘Wheel King’ feature at the top.
If you’re lucky enough to activate the Wheel King feature, you open a bonus wheel, which offers cash prizes, as well as the three jackpots: Royal, Regal and Jackpot King.
If any of the three jackpots are won, the value is reset to its seed value and the process of building it up begins again.
You’ll find Jackpot King slots available with the majority of bookies and casinos.
To locate Jackpot King slots, navigate to the casino section, and then look for ‘Jackpot King’ as a category, either on its own or within the Slots section.
There are quite a lot of Jackpot King games out there, but not all of them will be featured on every single casino’s site.
Still, you’re likely to encounter a good range, as many of the most popular slots games out there have one or more Jackpot King versions available, including Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus and King Kong Cash.
That all depends on when you happen to play!
Because Jackpot King games feature progressive jackpots, the amounts will increase over time, as people fund them through playing the games, until they’re eventually won.
There are three different jackpots of different sizes available to win, each of which has a different starting seed value:
Royal Pot – the smallest pot, with a seed value of £500. The average win is £2370.63, at the time of writing, and the jackpot must be paid out before it reaches £3500 – meaning that the chances of a win increase as the pot grows.
Regal Pot – larger than the Royal Pot, but smaller than Jackpot King, with a seed value of £5000. The average win is £22,194.03 (again, at the time of writing), and the pot must be paid out before it reaches £35,000.
Jackpot King – the grand prize. There’s no maximum prize, meaning it can theoretically rise indefinitely. The biggest ever win was in April 2021, when a player won €8.1 million! This is funded by a seed of 0.11% of stakes since the jackpot was last won.
Pretty minimal, sadly. The chances of winning the biggest jackpot are millions to one against you – which shouldn’t come as a surprise, when the jackpots often stand at 7 figures.
Admittedly, the chance of winning does increase marginally the higher a jackpot becomes, and the longer it’s been since someone last won – but this definitely doesn’t mean you should stake all your hopes on a big win.
If you simply play a Jackpot King slot, without any sort of casino bonus or free spins, the most likely outcome is that you will end up losing money.
That all depends on what you like to see in a slots game! You might enjoy flashy bonuses and innovative mechanics, or you might prefer a relatively straightforward slots game, just with the added excitement of a potential jackpot win.
When it comes to straightforward value for money, you should look for the Jackpot King game with the highest RTP.
Anything above 95% is fairly good going for a Jackpot King slot – so games like Eye of Horus Jackpot King at 95.64% or Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Catch JPK at 95.49% are good options.
That said, you can generally find slots games with higher RTPs if they don’t have a jackpot mechanism – so unless you’re specifically in search of a Jackpot King slot, you’re likely to be better off looking elsewhere.
Yes, you can – but we wouldn’t recommend it if you can avoid it.
Casino Matched Betting relies on putting yourself in a position to gain a statistical advantage over the casino, where the free spins or bonuses you’ve received result in a positive expected value from the offer you’re completing (for a full explanation of how this works, check out our guide to casino Matched Betting).
To maximise the expected value of an offer, your most profitable strategy is to play through any wagering and your free spins on a slots game with the highest possible RTP (return to player).
The problem with Jackpot King slots is that a portion of the RTP is used to fund the jackpots themselves.
For example, let’s take a look at King Kong Cash Go Bananas Jackpot King. It has an advertised RTP of 95.49% which, while some way from the best available, is fairly respectable.
But when you check the fine print, 0.38% of that, plus a 0.11% reserve (which funds the seed value of the jackpot), is going into funding the jackpot – meaning that, unless you happen to win a jackpot, the effective RTP is actually only 95%.
That may not seem like a huge difference, but given the minimal chances of winning a jackpot, you’re far better off sticking to slots without jackpots instead of having a percentage of your stake dedicated to funding a jackpot you’re never realistically going to win.
Of course, sometimes the only eligible slot will be a Jackpot King slot – and if so, you can use our Expected Value Calculator to check if an offer’s worth doing nonetheless.
But if you get the choice, we’d always recommend avoiding jackpot-related slots in favour of those with a high RTP, none of which is dedicated to funding jackpots.
It’s possible to make solid ongoing profits from Casino Matched Betting (even if we don’t recommend using Jackpot King slots), and lots of our members do exactly that!
Oddsmonkey’s All Access membership package grants you access to over 100 casino sign up offers, plus lots of regular reload offers, giving you the chance to make ongoing profits from casino offers.
But it’s important to remember that there is a risk with casino. Statistically, you have an excellent chance of ending up in profit, with the reliability of your profits increasing the more offers you complete, but it’s also possible (though unlikely) to fail to make any money at all.
You therefore shouldn’t ever stake more than you can afford on casino offers, as there is a risk of losing your initial stake.
If you’re starting out without much in the way of bankroll, we’d recommend building it up with Matched Betting on sports before you embark on casino offers.
