The NFL is back! – Follow the Bookies and get on Belichick and Brady

NFL returns this week and Bookmakers are running scared of title favourites New England Patriots, and OddsMonkey believes they are good value.

The Patriots won the Super Bowl last season beating the Atlanta Falcons in one of greatest comebacks in sporting history as they overturned a 25-point deficit.

Now a few months on, New England – led by their legendary coach Bill Belichick, the most successful coach in NFL history, and quarter-back superstar Tom Brady, they again look in fine fettle to reclaim the Vince Lombardi Trophy next February.

“Normally you would see the betting quite close in the overall winner market, especially as they haven’t even had one down in the season so far, but from Las Vegas to London – the Bookies are running scared of New England,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.

“4/1 is the best you can get on New England with most even going lower at 7/2 and on the face of it, they don’t look great value but if they dominate from the off, as they easily could, they will go even lower and quickly.

“Bookmakers are telling us Punters are not being scared off by New England’s price and that is clear to see.

“American Football is easily in the top-ten most popular market in the UK now, and this season that interest will surely increase with new markets being offered all over – but let’s keep it simple for now – back New England whilst you can.”
