The BOG (Best Odds
Guaranteed) Matcher

It may sound a strange name for a tool but, if you don’t already know, in the betting world, BOG stands for Best Odds Guaranteed.

It’s an offer that many UK bookmakers provide where they will pay you more winnings if your horse wins and the odds when it started the race were better than when you placed your bet.

The odds when a horse starts a race are referred to, by the bookmaker, as the Starting Price, or SP, for short.

For example, if you bet on a horse to win at odds of 6, and the horse’s Starting Price was 10, you would be paid out at odds of 10.

What the
BOG Matcher does

The OddsMatcher shows odds from all the bookmakers offering Best Odds Guaranteed. Ideally we are looking for zero loss qualifying bets as there is no way to lock in or guarantee a profit, the matcher defaults to showing these bets.

Once we have found a bet we like we can click the open button to show the in-built calculator. This will tell us what we need to bet to qualify and how much we need to lay at the exchange. If you have linked your exchange you can lay your bet right here in the matcher.

We can also log our bet so that we remember what bets we have placed and then come back later to enter the result.

The matcher also allows us to create custom filters and get automatic alerts when good bets become available.
