13:20 – Turners Novices’ Hurdle Race (Hurdle)

With a grand total of 52 runners, this race kicks off the action on day two with over 2 miles of horse racing action. Featuring 10 hurdles in total, this race was won by Ballyburn last year, with trainer Willie Mullins taking his third win in a row here. This year, we look towards Final Demand, who looks set to win at odds 13/8, whilst The New Lion comes with odds of 11/4.

14:00 – Brown Advisory Novices’ Steeple Chase (Chase)

Next up, this race is known to be one of the most prestigious races of the jumps season for staying novice chasers! With 23 runners and 19 hurdles, the Brown Advisory Novices’ Steeple Chase takes place across 3 miles and was won by Fact To File last year. This year, Ballyburn sits at favourite with 15/8, whilst Dancing City is placed at 7/2. Users who are not sure about different odds or use American odds can use the OddsMonkey odds converter.

14:40 – Coral Cup Hurdle (Hurdle)

Currently, with 96 horses looking to take part, the maximum field of 26 makes the Coral Cup one of the most fiercely competitive betting heats at the meeting. With 10 hurdles and a distance of 2 miles and 5 furlongs, Kopeck De Mee is the favourite at 5/1, while Be Aware and Wodhooh sit at 8/1 and 10/1, respectively. Over the past two years, Langer Dan has been victorious in the Coral Cup.

15:20 – Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase (Chase)

Run over 3m6f on the second day, this Cross Country race is a one-of-a-kind race at the festival as it is one of the longest. With 31 hurdles, we are currently looking at 31 runners. In 2024, the race was abandoned due to a waterlogged track, yet this year, we are looking towards Stumptown to be the favourite at 5/2, whilst Galvin is at 6/1. It is possible for there to be non-runners in these types of races, meaning it is essential to keep updated with the horses involved.

16:00 – BetMGM Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase (Chase)

Being the most notable race of the day, the BetMGM Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase is a race that takes place at a distance of around 2 miles. It features 13 hurdles that need to be jumped. Won by Captain Guinness and Rachael Blackmore last year, Jonbon is the favourite this year with odds at 8/11. The second favourite is Gaelic Warrior, who is set at odds of 13/2, meaning Jonbon is the clear favourite.

16:40 – The Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Handicap Steeple Chase Challenge Cup (Chase)

With a distance of under 2 miles, this shorter race features 13 hurdles and is a fierce and fast gallop! This year, the field is fairly open, with the favourite Libberty Hunter being set at 8/1, whilst The King of Prs, Firefox and Jazzy Matty all are placed at 10/1. Last year, Unexpected Party was able to win the race whilst set at odds 12/1!

17:20 – The Weatherby Champion Bumper (Bumper)

Being the last race of the day, the Weatherbys Champion Bumper is the only race at the meeting that has no obstacles to jump on. At a distance of 2 miles, this race was last won by trainer Willie Mullins and horse Jasmin De Vaux, whereas this year, Gameofinches is set as the favourite at 4/1!
