A Heinz bet, aptly named after the old Heinz slogan of “57 varieties”, is a large betting multiple which consists of 57 bets across 6 total selections. The different sections of the Heinz bet are as follows:

Six Selections: These are your actual choices for what you are betting on, for example, 6 different horses to win their respective races. Instead of betting on these as singles, you are placing them all in your bet slip and choosing the Heinz multiple option.

Fifteen Doubles: Out of the 57 bets that are placed, 15 are doubles, made from pairs of the selections that cover the entire 6 selections. To gather any sort of return from a Heinz bet, at least 2 out of your 6 selections must win, as no Singles are covered. Of course, the more selections that win, the more bets will be classed as winners. These doubles are 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, 1-6, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5, 2-6, 3-4, 3-5, 3-6, 4-5, 4-6, and 5-6. Check out our double bet calculator on site to work out your returns on double bets..

Twenty Trebles: Another large chunk of the 57 total bets are divided into these 20 trebles. A treble is a group of 3 selections in one bet, where all 3 must win to return a profit. If 3 of your total selections win out of the Heinz bet, you can expect the return from 1 treble and the 2 doubles that contain the same selections. These trebles are 1-2-3, 1-2-4, 1-2-5, 1-2-6, 1-3-4, 1-3-5, 1-3-6, 1-4-5, 1-4-6, 1-5-6, 2-3-4, 2-3-5, 2-3-6, 2-4-5, 2-4-6, 2-5-6, 3-4-5, 3-4-6, 3-5-6, and 4-5-6. We also have a dedicated treble bet calculator.

Fifteen 4-Folds: This is where the returns start to increase drastically, with these 4-fold bets that cover 4 selections and include 2 trebles and 3 doubles each. If 4 of your selections win, you will access the return from one of these 4-folds. These fifteen 4-folds are 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-5, 1-2-3-6, 1-2-4-5, 1-2-4-6, 1-2-5-6, 1-3-4-5, 1-3-4-6, 1-3-5-6, 1-4-5-6, 2–4-5, 2-3-4-6, 2-3-5-6, 2-4-5-6, and 3-4-5-6.

Six 5-Folds: If you are good enough with your picks that you get 5 out of the 6 correct, you will see some large returns from one of these 5-folds. These consist of the following options; 1-2-3-4-5, 1-2-3-4-6, 1-2-3-5-6, 1-2-4-5-6, 1-3-4-5-6, and 2-3-4-5-6.

One 6-Fold: The final part of the Heinz, and where the highest returns come from, is the 6-fold. This is built up with all 6 of the selections, 1-2-3-4-5-6, and has the highest odds out of all options within Heinz. This is the biggest accumulator in a Heinz bet, see our accumulator betting calculator for your acca returns.

Compared to other multiples, the Heinz bet offers one of the highest returns purely because there are more selections within it. There is also something known as a Super Heinz bet, which combines 7 selections, and a Goliath, which contains 8!

After looking at all of the different bet options that are part of a Heinz bet, you may think it seems very confusing. That is why OddsMonkey has created this Heinz bet calculator to take the confusion away and make the calculations much easier to complete.

What is a Heinz Bet Calculator?

As Heinz combines so many selections and requires a moderately high total bet (most bookies have a minimum bet of 10p, which totals £5.70 as the minimum for a Heinz multiple), they are not explored by many bettors. These selections can actually add a small amount of relief for those who seem to consistently get unlucky with their picks, getting let down by 1 selection each time. If the bets were placed using our Heinz bet calculator, you would be able to see how much each selection would affect your total returns if it loses.

The Heinz bet calculator we provide on the OddsMonkey site is simple to use, only requiring little input from the person using it. You can enter your Unit, which is then multiplied by 57 to calculate your total stake. Next, enter the odds for each of the 6 selections, and set them all to ‘Won’. This will calculate the full returns if all 6 selections are won. Now, you can change some of the ‘Won’ boxes to ‘Lost’ or ‘Void’, and this will adjust your total returns accordingly. It’s as easy as that!

Who can use a Heinz Bet Calculator?

Anybody with a bit of knowledge about betting odds can easily use this Heinz bet calculator. As long as you understand the odds, you can enter them into the boxes and calculate your potential returns. After a small amount of practice, the Heinz bet calculator tool can be utilised by anyone who wishes to use it.
